About Me

I am a life and leadership coach and an ordained interfaith minister, enjoying life in northern Michigan — a place of stunning natural beauty.

My work as a coach and facilitator centers around the growth and development of the human spirit — and helping teams work more effectively together. The people I work with come from a variety of backgrounds — typically leaders, emerging leaders, and professionals. My work emphasizes heart, spirit, and values whether the topic is a life or career transition, life balance, spirituality, or relationships. I also enjoy working with groups as a facilitator of strategic initiatives and retreats. I've always had a deep interest in creative thinking and bringing people together in new ways.

As an interfaith chaplain, I officiate at weddings, blessings, and memorial services. I enjoy helping couples and families express their creativity by developing a ceremony or ritual that best meets their wants and needs. I also offer labyrinth walks and retreats using this powerful visual metaphor for the meandering path of twists and turns of life.

My community service work focuses on the environment, humanitarian causes, and the arts. I enjoy kayaking, hiking, biking the back roads, and making pottery. Several years ago, I walked the 500-mile pilgrimage route from the French Pyrenees to Santiago de Compostela, Spain.

I had a 20-year career with IBM in marketing and communications, have lived and worked in Europe, and thrive in multicultural environments. I speak fluent French and some German.

Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, I received a BA from Aquinas College and an MA from Marquette University. I studied coaching at New York University and Coach U and was ordained by the Chaplaincy Institute for Arts and Interfaith Ministries.
